3 minutes 43 seconds |
Rinnan●Hinan● |
The opening match is a three-way battle between Zoe Lucas, Rina, and Hina. Will the twin sisters Rina and Hina team up beyond their unit boundaries, or will Zoe and Rina fight together based on their unit bonds, or something else...? What will be the outcome of this unpredictable three-way battle?
The three of them cautiously pretend to lock up, but TCS team up. A series of roll-up attempts immediately ensues. Lucas pinches the twin sisters' cheeks while calling them "cute." The sisters get angry and pin him against the ropes, and he takes turns delivering a series of dropkicks. The sisters try to cover him, but can't get the three count. Lucas drives the sisters into the corner and delivers a series of running spin kicks to them one after the other. He kicks both of them at once, but only gets the two count. Rina puts Lucas in a Manji Gatame (figure-four leglock). Then Hinami delivers a dropkick. Rina and Hinami exchange elbows. After a struggle for the back, Hinami throws Rina. Rina counters with an Osoto Gari (major outer reaping). Hinami counters again but is pinned in a Jackknife pin. Lucas breaks up and hits Rina with a Face Crusher. Hinami hits a high kick and then a Lucas Landslide onto Rina. Lucas gets the three count for both of them

The tag team 3-way match, taking place in the middle of the tag team league, pits STARS against TCS against Oedo Tai. The teams participating are Tam Nakano & Saki Kashima, Hana Kimura & Bobby Tyler, and Sumire Natsu & "Session Moth" Martina, but of these, only Sumire Natsu's team is entered in the league. Will they carry over the teamwork they've shown in the league, or will the other two teams discover new strengths?
Kashima, Hana, and Natsu start the match. Natsu tells Kashima, "It would be a waste to make this a three-way match between you and me," and sends Hana back. Kashima then charges at Hana with fierce determination. Kashima makes a comeback with a series of elbows, but is cut off. Kashima and Natsu team up and launch a corner attack on Hana. Natsu rolls up Hana, but Kashima steals the pin. However, it's not enough for a three count. Martina asks Natsu to tag in and they switch places. Martina faces off against Nakano and Tyler. When Tyler provokes them, Martina and Nakano attack. When Nakano charges, Martina and Tyler attack with a coordinated kick. When Martina and Tyler are fighting, Kashima and Nakano intervene. They corner Martina and deliver a double thrust kick followed by a face crusher, and Nakano follows up with a cartwheel double knee. Natsu and Martina cornered the other wrestlers and performed a Bronco Buster together. Martina hit Nakano with a modified neckbreaker. She delivered a series of elbows to Tyler followed by a double chop. Tyler anticipated what would happen and slammed Martina to the mat. Hana was entrusted with the task and put Martina in a Manji Gatame. Nakano tried to break it up, but Hana forced both of them to give up with a Dragon Sleeper. Nakano escaped and Hana delivered a Big Boot, but Natsu interrupted with a whip strike. Natsu hit Nakano with a Brainbuster Hold. Nakano kicked out and delivered a Backdrop. Natsu kicked out and Kashima tagged in and delivered a Big Boot. After a struggle for the back, Kashima kicked Natsu in the groin. A writhing Natsu delivered a weak elbow. She somehow managed to get up and Kashima also delivered an elbow. Hana then dropped a Missile Kick, sending both of them flying, but Martina sprayed alcohol at them. Nakano and Kashima charged at Hana and Tyler, but they dodged. Hana attempted a package piledriver on Kashima. Martina intervened and landed a series of elbows on Hana. Martina went for the finish, but Hana countered with a big boot and then a figure-four leglock. She followed up with a hydrangea and tightened the hold on Martina's legs, forcing her to tap out. Hana and Tyler were declared the winners

Andras Miyagi ● <2 points> |
|
The official match is between Kagetsu & Andras Miyagi and Iida Saya & Kamitani Saya. While the Red Goddesses have already decided which team will advance to the finals, the Blue Goddesses are still a long shot. Kagetsu's team, having lost one of their two matches, still has a chance. It seems likely that Iida's team will score two points, but what shouldn't be overlooked is Kamitani's announcement of a "new move" at the press conference. Kamitani said that she has a wrestler she looks up to as her ideal wrestler, and it seems she has been practicing the moves that wrestler used. Will she actually unveil her new move, and will it allow her to achieve a major upset? Knowing this, Kagetsu & Andras might try to take down Kamitani..
As the Sayasaya duo advanced to the center of the ring, the Oedo Tai attacked. Kagetsu and Andras attacked in a tag-team move from the corner, driving them out of the ring and slamming them into the audience. Kagetsu stacked chairs and delivered a foot stomp from the apron. When Kamiya returned to the ring, the Oedo Tai took turns stomping on her. Kagetsu and Andras tried to throw Kamiya into the ropes, but she resisted, and she and Iida exchanged dropkicks. They cornered Kagetsu, but Kamiya was cut off. However, Iida immediately followed up with a dropkick. Sayasaya delivered a series of dropkicks in the corner, followed by a missile kick. Kamiya applied a sickle hold to Kagetsu, then transitioned into a reverse Boston crab. Kagetsu escaped, and Kamiya delivered a series of elbows. Kagetsu took the blows and slammed them into Iida, who was standing on the sidelines. Andras assisted with a dropkick, and Kagetsu also delivered a dropkick. They helped Kamiya up and delivered a double back drop. Kamiya and Iida ended up fighting each other, but Kamiya continued to roll up Andras. Kamiya attempted a reverse pin, but Andras resisted and struck him with a weapon, but it was a misfire. Kamiya then performed a standing shooting star press, pinning Andras and securing a major upset victory
Kamiya: "I was able to get my first win! I will continue to hone my skills and do my best to win many more matches (sobbing). Thank you!"

Comments from Iida and Kamiya
-- An unexpected victory against the Oedo Tai
Kamiya: "At first, I honestly felt like I was going to lose heart because there was such a huge difference in skill, but I had prepared a standing shooting star press for this day, so when he misfired at the end, I thought this was my chance."
—Was the standing shooting star press the new move you announced at the press conference?
Kamiya: "That's right."
—What was the ideal wrestler image you were talking about there?
Kamiya: "I'm talking about a male wrestler, but one who uses aerial maneuvers like Ibushi."
—I thought it was a female athlete, so that was an unexpected choice
Kamiya: "(Laughs) I used to do gymnastics, so I often watch Io Shirai's videos, and there are moves in my head that I want to imitate. I want to incorporate the good points of various wrestlers I admire and create a style of pro wrestling that only I can do."
--This is the team's first league win. There are still official league matches to come
Iida: "That's right. Kamiya used a standing shooting star press to take down Kagetsu and Andras Miyagi, who are incredibly strong opponents, today, partly because they made a mistake, so I hope that Kamiya will be able to finish off future matches with one move as well."
-- This was also Kamiya's first victory achieved on his own merit
"Yes, it was my first victory. It was my first time. When I heard the gong ring three times, I felt that sensation for myself, and I thought, 'What is this? This will be a first victory I'll never forget.'"

Goddess of Stardom champions Jungle Kyona and Konami have been struggling in the league tournament, already losing three points and being out of contention for the championship. Their opponents for this match, Oedo Tai's Hazuki and Tora Natsuko, have also been eliminated with two losses and no wins. This match itself has become a meaningless contest that has no bearing on the championship race. Nevertheless, for the sake of their pride as tag team champions, Kyona and her team must win all of their remaining matches. Sooner or later, a title defense for the tag team belts is inevitable. Will it be the winning team, another team that challenges them, or will the champions themselves nominate them? Kyona and her team must be in top form for that day. This match is also, in a sense, a "reunion" for Kyona and Natsuko. At the press conference, Natsuko spoke about their past relationship, and it seems that Kyona was left with mixed feelings remembering it. This tag team match will see the emotions of both women clash
Oedo Tai gained the upper hand in the brawl outside the ring. Back in the ring, Hazuki dominated Kyoka. Natsuko delivered a body slam and a running body press to Kyoka. Kyoka and Natsuko exchanged elbows. Kyoka countered with a shoulder tackle. Konami entered the ring, but Hazuki hit her with a Codebreaker. Hazuki and Natsuko then showered Kyoka and Konami with face washes. Konami put Natsuko in a hanging armbar. Kyoka sent Hazuki tumbling to the outside with a lariat. Konami followed with a sliding kick, sending Kyoka outside as well. Konami asked for a tag, but Kyoka refused and went after Natsuko. Kyoka delivered a Kauna elbow followed by a lariat. Natsuko countered, and Kyoka applied a figure-four neck lock, then grabbed her arm and turned it into a triangle choke. Natsuko escaped, and Kyoka charged in with a corner attack. Natsuko dodges and Hazuki hits a Codebreaker, Natsuko hits a Kamikaze and a Frog Splash. However, Konami makes a successful cut. Kyoka hits Natsuko and Konami together with a Brainbuster. Kyoka hits Natsuko with a lariat and lifts her up. Konami hits a missile kick and Kyoka hits a powerbomb. Natsuko kicks out and Kyoka hits her with a lariat. It looked like it was over but Natsuko's shoulders rose. Kyoka gets in position for a Hammer Throw but Hazuki breaks it up with a swan dive. Konami hits Hazuki with a neckbreaker. Kyoka and Konami throw Natsuko into the ropes but get hit with a spear. Natsuko hoists Kyoka on her back and Hazuki hits a Codebreaker, sending Natsuko to the heavens. Kyoka kicks out at the last moment and Natsuko hits a body slam followed by a diving guillotine. The three count is called and Natsuko pins Kyoka

Although they missed out on the finals to Bea Priestley and Jamie Hayter, it's the idol team of Riho and Starlight Kid that's stirring things up in this series. This time, they face Momo Watanabe and AZM, who are on a losing streak, in an official match. Riho, the High Speed Champion, is at the center of the team, and Kid and AZM are also wrestlers who believe in speed. Kid or AZM could use their performance in this match to make an impression in preparation for an upcoming title match. It will also be interesting to see how Momo makes her presence felt. For Momo's team, they absolutely must avoid a third consecutive loss
Riho's team offers a handshake, but QQ refuses. The bell rings with Riho and AZM as the starting pair. AZM initiates with a crossbody. Riho retaliates with a dropkick at close range. Riho and Kid team up and charge at AZM, but Momo intervenes. Riho and Kid still manage to grab Momo and attack her near the ropes. Kid hits AZM with a neckbreaker. AZM hits Kid with a dropkick, then a body slam and a camel clutch. Momo then runs back and forth along the ropes and lands a middle kick. Kid kicks back, but QQ grabs her in their corner. Momo delivers a series of elbows and stomps. Kid jumps in for a DDT, and Riho tags in with a jumping knee attack followed by a dropkick to the face. Momo is held against the ropes and dodges a 619 before delivering a brainbuster. Riho dodges the knee attack. Riho delivers a knee attack from behind and a dropkick from the front. Momo attempts a B-Driver, but Kid manages to break it up. Momo climbs to the corner, but Kid cuts her off and she and Riho perform a Deadly Drive. Riho attempts a diving foot stomp, but it's dodged. Momo attempts a high kick, but Riho jumps on her with a Casadora and delivers a foot stomp. Kid hits Momo with a corner dropkick and tries to go for a Shiranui, but Momo resists and goes for a back suplex. AZM hits Kid with a missile kick and a corner dropkick. AZM and Kid exchange elbows. Riho tries to intervene, but Momo cuts her off. Momo and AZM exchange elbows, but they're dodged, and Kid and Riho perform a hurricanrana and a 619 together. They then land diving body attacks from two directions. Kid attempts a Northern Lights, but AZM counters. Kid performs a spinning diving body press. AZM and Kid exchange roll-up attempts. Riho hits a dropkick, and Kid tries to pin her, but she kicks out at the last moment. AZM tries for a Mystica, but Kid dodges it. Kid hit AZM with a neck screw followed by a moonsault press. AZM dodged and hit Azumi Sushi. Riho tried to break it up, but Momo and AZM kicked Kid in the head from both sides. AZM dropped a diving foot stomp, but Kid managed to lift her shoulder. Momo hit a Soumato from the corner, and AZM applied a Mystica-style armlock. As AZM tightened the armlock, Kid tapped out. The Momo & AZM team secured their first victory in the league

*The 13th champion, Arisa Hoshiki, successfully defended her title for the seventh time

In the opening match of the 5☆STAR GP, Arisa Hoshiki was defeated by Jamie Hayter, starting the league tournament with a loss. More than just a setback, she suffered the humiliation of her first singles defeat since her return. Now, a rematch for the white belt has been scheduled. Hoshiki must defend the Wonder of Stardom Championship at all costs and gain a foothold towards her goal of setting a record for most title defenses. Her challenger, Hayter, has already secured a place in the finals as a tag team with Bea Priestley and is on a roll. Defeating Hayter in her current form will be a formidable challenge. Can Hoshiki overcome the obstacle posed by Hayter? It looks like it will be a tough fight for the champion
As Hoshiki made his entrance, Kashima forcibly lifted the reluctant Nakano onto the apron to greet his tag team partner. When Hoshiki was called, Hayter launched a surprise attack. Hoshiki resisted Hayter's attempt at a brainbuster, but Hayter threw him into the ropes. Hayter sent Hoshiki out of the ring and performed a tope suicida. Back in the ring, Hayter delivered a series of brainbusters and stomped on Hoshiki's face with one foot. Hoshiki responded to Hayter's charge with a middle kick. Hayter stomped on Hoshiki's shoulder, followed by a series of elbows and a dragon sleeper. Hayter dodged Hoshiki's kicks but was hit by the third one. Hoshiki delivered a corner double knee attack. He then jumped from the second base and delivered a kick followed by another double knee. When Hayter kicked out, he received a face claw. Hoshiki delivered a series of strikes and charged forward. Hayter caught his leg and applied a reverse Boston crab. Hoshiki escaped, and five minutes had passed. Hayter unleashes a flurry of elbows, and Hoshiki dodges a lariat before landing a high kick. As Hoshiki charges, Hayter catches him and slams him to the mat. Hayter and Hoshiki's high kicks clash, and both go down. They grab each other's hair and exchange chops. They get back up and Hoshiki lands another high kick. Hoshiki climbs to the corner, but Hayter delivers a superplex followed by a high-speed Michinoku Driver. Hayter charges, and Hoshiki kicks him in the head. Hoshiki climbs to the corner again, but Hayter climbs up as well. Hoshiki headbutts him down and lands a 1399. Hayter kicks out, and Hoshiki screams. Hoshiki lands a Brazilian kick, but Hayter kicks out. Hoshiki lands another Brazilian kick on Hayter. Hayter dodges and lands a series of lariats. Hayter grabs both of Hoshiki's arms, slams him in the face, and goes for the cover. 10 minutes have passed. Hayter goes for the cover again, but it's only a two count. Hayter slides Hoshiki's knee pads aside and helps him stand up. Hoshiki landed a series of high kicks and went for the SSC. After a series of Shining Impacts, he pinned his opponent for the three count. Hoshiki defeated Hater and successfully defended the white belt
Hoshiki: "I beat Jamie! She was so strong. What a powerful hitter, there were honestly times during the match when I thought I might not be able to do it. But at those times, I was able to keep going because of the support from my corner team, STARS, and the fans. Thank you. This is a victory for all of us. This is my 7th consecutive victory. Yes! Last time at Korakuen, I said there were things I had to do. Today's match was one of those things, and next time, maybe at Korakuen, I absolutely have to defeat this person. In Cinderella, we fought in the finals and I won. But in 5★STAR, I lost. I can't let that be the end of it. So, where is Konami?"
Small waves appear
Konami: "Hoshiki Arisa, I will never forget. In the 2019 Spring Cinderella Tournament final, you destroyed in an instant everything I had built up until then. Now, on this greatest stage, I will take away that white belt that you cherish most."
Konami leaves the stage
Hoshiki: "...It seems the answer is OK, so next time at Korakuen, Ogawa-san, it's OK. Next time at Korakuen, I'll fight Konami-san and I'll achieve my 8th victory! After this, Mayu-chan will be taking the red belt, so everyone, please cheer her on like crazy. Thank you very much!"

Comment from Hoshiki
--After successfully defending the position
"This is only the seventh time, and we still have about half to go."
-- Up to the record of Momoko Watanabe, which is your goal
"That's right. I absolutely have to achieve it. This white belt is proof that I'm alive. I've been feeling that very, very, very lately. So, when I compete with this belt on the line, it means I'm putting my life on the line more than ever before. I'm going to win my next match against Konami and engrave the crystallization of my life onto this belt."
--Next up is Konami. This time it was Jamie and last time it was Kagetsu. It seems like she's on the road to revenge
"Yes, I thought that if I fought against Kagetsu, my perspective would change drastically. But that wasn't the case, because there were things I still wanted to do. I want to do those things, and my next opponent will be Konami, and achieve what I've decided to do."
—If you achieve that, will you be able to see the new scenery you've always wanted to see?
"I wonder if I'll be able to see it? I don't know. But it really depends on me. I want to take each and every match seriously."
--You've said you'll risk your life to defend the white belt, but Iwatani will be challenging for the red belt next. Are you thinking about the red belt?
"There was a moment when it seemed like something was budding, but right now my head is full of things I still want to do. So, I feel like I need to get those things done first. I'm not quite there yet, though."
-- Jamie says he's the second foreigner, and Bea, the champion with the red belt, says he's the first foreigner. Is the white belt the second belt?
"I think people will perceive it differently. I've never thought of myself as second best, and Jamie is the one who labels herself as second best, so she's the one who labels herself, and in a way, that's not my business."
--Is the white belt your favorite among Hoshiki's?
"It's the best."
—What if Iwatani wins the red belt after this?
"That's because Mayu has her own values, and that's why she cherishes them, so I don't rank them as number one or number two."

*Bea Priestley, the 11th champion, failed in her 6th title defense. Mayu Iwatani becomes the 12th champion

The main event is a title match for the red belt. Mayu Iwatani is making a long-awaited return to the world championship scene. Two years ago, Iwatani stood at the top as the first-ever red and white belt champion. However, the day after losing the white belt, she suffered an injury during a match and lost the red belt as well. In her comeback match, she aimed for revenge against Toni Storm but was defeated again. A year ago, she challenged Kagetsu, but was unable to reclaim the title then either. However, now a chance has arrived for her to finally succeed on her third attempt. This match will likely be a test of whether the "icon of Stardom" can lead Stardom under its new system starting December 1st. However, the champion, Priestley, is in an unshakeable position. He has successfully defended his title five times so far, continuing to prove that he is the number one foreigner. If he can defeat the icon of Stardom here, he may not only become the number one foreigner but also the absolute champion. This is a title match where neither side will give in. Who will take the belt?
When Prestley extends his hand for a handshake, Iwatani responds cautiously. After a tense exchange of blows, they cautiously assume a four-point stance. They break their grip and stare each other down from a distance. They lock up and Prestley pushes Iwatani into the ropes, but Iwatani reverses and breaks the hold. Prestley pushes Iwatani again, feigning a break, but delivers an elbow. They engage in rope work, but Iwatani falls off the corner. Iwatani goes outside the ring to create some distance. As Iwatani jumps onto the corner, Prestley hits her with a knee strike, sending her crashing down. Prestley returns to the ring and attacks Iwatani's old injury with stomps to the knee
She corners Iwatani and applies a knee lock. Iwatani throws Presley into the corner and charges, but Presley easily dodges. This time it's Iwatani's turn to dodge, but Presley puts her knee on the third rope and attacks, drawing boos from the crowd. Iwatani is thrown into the corner but turns around and delivers a missile kick. She corners Presley into the ropes but her charge is dodged. Presley goes outside the ring and declares "the number one fucking foreigner." She ties Iwatani's knee to the ring post and applies a lock. Five minutes have passed. Presley calmly waits for Iwatani to return. As Presley goes for a kick, Iwatani catches her leg under the apron and delivers a dragon screw. Back in the ring, Presley delivers an elbow, and Iwatani retaliates. After an exchange of elbows, Iwatani delivers a back kick and a one-legged dropkick. Presley retaliates, and Iwatani delivers a low dropkick. She then delivers a plancha to Presley, who is outside the ring. Iwatani climbs onto the corner and delivers a diving foot stomp. As Iwatani declared she was going for the finish, she attempted a frog splash, but Presley reversed it and went for the cover. Iwatani kicked out and delivered a kick to the head. 10 minutes had passed. Iwatani gestured for an end and attempted a moonsault press, but it was dodged. Both were down, but got back up and Presley delivered a series of knee attacks. Iwatani was carried on Presley's shoulders and countered with a Dodonpa. Iwatani shouted "It's over!" and went to the corner. Presley caught up and delivered a series of slaps, which Iwatani retaliated with, attempting a superplex Frankensteiner. However, the hold broke down and both fell. Iwatani somehow got back up, screamed, and took Presley's back for a German suplex. Presley then added a modified back drop hold after the German suplex, locking Iwatani's legs and forcing her to give up. He pulled Iwatani back to the center as she tried to escape. Still, Iwatani managed to reach the ropes. 15 minutes had passed. Presley delivered a knee attack followed by a Kamigoye. Iwatani countered, and Presley delivered a knee attack to the back of the head, then carried her on his shoulders, but Iwatani tried to escape. As Iwatani endured the attack, Priestley landed a knee to her stomach and then went for a shoulder carry again. Iwatani reversed and rolled him up, but it was only a two count. Iwatani threw an elbow, and Priestley fought back. As Iwatani collapsed in the exchange, Priestley kicked her in the back. He also kicked her in the face, but Iwatani unleashed a barrage of elbows. Priestley landed a series of high kicks, but Iwatani countered with a hurricanrana, a thrust kick, and a dragon suplex. Iwatani climbed to the corner and attempted a moonsault press, but Priestley managed to lift her shoulders at the last moment. Iwatani declared her finish and delivered a two-stage dragon suplex. This resulted in a three count, and Iwatani reclaimed the red belt
Iwatani: "Good evening everyone at Korakuen Hall!! I finally won! At times, I thought I was going to get injured again. Last time, I got injured and lost the red belt in 1 minute and 30 seconds, or was it 2 minutes and 30 seconds? The belt that I got injured and lost in 1 minute and a half has now been returned to me! From now on, as an icon of Stardom, I will proudly continue to defend this red belt, so keep your eyes peeled for the continuation of the Iwatani, Iwatani, Iwatani Mayu drama! I think you can probably guess who my first opponent will be after this win. Or maybe not? Iwatani Mayu's biggest rival, Kagetsu."
Kagetsu appeared from the south side of the audience seating area
Iwatani: "I definitely want to be the first to defeat you. I'm going to beat you and become the real champion. I will."
Kagetsu: "Hey you guys at Korakuen Hall, how are you?! How are you again? Listen, you guys and Iwatani, you can only say yes or yes to Kagetsu-sama's questions. Iwatani Mayu, Kagetsu-sama can only say yes or yes to your questions. Iwatani Mayu, let me challenge you for that red belt you hold."
Iwatani: "Of course the answer is yes."
Kagetsu: "So, when are we going to do it?"
Iwatani: "(To the audience) When would be a good time?"
Kagetsu: "Let's let the customers decide."
Many people suggested Korakuen
Iwatani: "With so many answers, we have no choice but to do it at Korakuen Hall."
Kagetsu: "Okay, then, at the next Korakuen Hall event, the final match of the year on December 24th, make sure you don't cry. When Kagetsu-sama reclaims that red belt, I will invite the opponent I truly wanted to face. That's all."
Iwatani: "So, next month at Korakuen Hall, I'll be defending the red belt against Kagetsu. You absolutely must come and see it. What's the answer? (Yes!) So, STARS, it's been a while since I won the main event, so get on stage. I'll wrap it up properly. If Mayu talks, it'll just become a mess."
Nakano and Hoshiki enter the ring and begin to skirmish
Iwatani: "Okay, no fighting. Come on up. Congratulations on defending the white belt, Arisa. Now AMA has both the red and white belt champions. Amazing. But Arisa, I'm going to beat you and become the true red belt champion. I'll come and take that belt from you someday. So Arisa, you should come and take this red belt from me too."
Iwatani and Hoshiki shake hands. Nakano joins hands in the middle
Iwatani: "So, let's take a break and have Nakano Tam wrap things up."
Nakano: "Believe in the present, shine tomorrow, We are STARDOM!"

Iwatani's comment
Iwatani: "Ah... I got the red belt, the red belt! It's incredible. Before the match, I was more nervous than I've been all year, I was really, really tense, and I was worried about losing here, but Bea is so strong, and I wasn't 100% confident that I could win, so I was really scared, she was so strong, and I almost blacked out several times. At one point, I thought I might have gotten injured again, but in the end I was able to get this belt, and I was really, really moved. My head isn't working properly right now, but I was so moved that I cried for the first time in a long time. I really have that much attachment to this red belt. I lost this belt because of an injury, and after that I challenged for a singles belt, and when I became the singles champion, I had this anxiety and trauma that I might get injured again." "I'm feeling overwhelmed, and I don't really know how to put it into words. Right now, I'm just so overwhelmed with emotion that I'm a little speechless. I think a true champion is someone who can speak up properly in times like these, but I'm still not very good at putting my feelings into words. So, I want to grow both mentally and in my wrestling, together with this red belt, to be a true champion. But, by winning this red belt, I'm no longer just an icon of Stardom, but an icon of the world of women's professional wrestling. I will definitely become a star worthy of this belt, and although we are already the number one organization in women's professional wrestling, I want us to become the number one organization in the world. I think it's my role to lead us in that direction, so please watch over Mayu Iwatani from now on."
—You nominated Kagetsu as your challenger
"My biggest rival is Kagetsu. Of course, I respected Io Shirai and others, and I had the feeling that I wanted to be like them, that I wanted to surpass them. But now, in the last few years, ever since Kagetsu joined Stardom as a free agent, we've both thought of each other and fought each other as rivals. First of all, I want to defeat Kagetsu. We've fought a few times before, and it's always been such a close fight that it's hard to tell who will win. I think our win-loss record is about even, or maybe I'm losing a little more than I win, so I want to defeat Kagetsu. She's simply my rival, and I love her. Well, there are a lot of people I want to fight. There are tons of people I need to surpass, and there are a lot of people who are really stronger than me. But I think you can only become a true champion after you overcome those challenges, so first I want to defeat them one by one. Kagetsu is the first step in that."
